Hockey TipsOverview
If you're looking to do something special for a young hockey player in your life, you may want to consider making a hockey card. When you create your own hockey cards, you can choose the template for the card, the picture and the hockey stats displayed on it. These cards can make a hockey player feel like a pro and serve as a great end of the season gift.
My Trading Cards
Step 1
Begin by creating a free account on the My Trading Cards website (see Resources below). All you need is a valid email address to sign up on the website.
Step 2
Log onto the "Hockey Cards" portion of the My Trading Cards website (see Resources below).
Step 3
Scroll through the different designs of hockey cards until you find one that you like. Click on that design to begin making your own hockey card.
Step 4
Click the "Upload Your Photo" tab. Click on one of the "Browse" tabs in the box that appears on the screen. Once you do, you can search for and upload a picture to the My Trading Cards website. After the picture uploads, you will automatically be taken to the "My Image(s)" tab. Click on your picture and then click "Set As Image 1." The picture will now appear in the middle of the hockey card.
Step 5
Find the text boxes on the left side of the screen. Once you do, enter the name of the hockey team in "Text Line 1" and the name of the hockey player in "Text Line 2."
Step 6
Click the "Back Side" button found to the right of the card. Once you do, you will notice that text boxes on the left side of the screen have changed. Type in the requested information in those text boxes. This will include the name of the player, his age, height, weight and position.
Step 7
Click the "My Stats" button found directly next to the "Back Side" button. A box will appear on the screen. Click the "Click here to create a New Stats Table" option. Then, click "Blank Stats."
Step 8
Type in the stats you want to display on the back of the hockey card. You can choose how many stats (columns or rows) you want to display on the card. Examples of stats are goals, assists, points and games played.
Step 9
Click "Save" when you have finished entering the stats. The stats will then appear on the back of your hockey card. Click on the center of the stats to position them on the card.
Step 10
Click the "Order Now" tab when you're finished to purchase the hockey cards that you have made. You can purchase up to 25,000 hockey cards from the website.
