Golf Travel Bag Reviews

Many companies offer a variety of golf bags for different uses. While some use golf bags for all their clubs, some golf bags hold only one type of club, be it a driver, wedge, putter or iron. There are different qualities in bags created by the manufacturer that range from the luggage-type bags to the protective cover for the clubs. Many golf bags have padding in the bag to compensate the weight of certain golf items.

Titleist Rolling Golf/Cart Bags

Titleist rolling duffel bags closely resemble rolling suitcases or bags. The standard rolling duffel bags come complete with extra cushion or padding to prevent dents and scratches from the rigors of travel. Because of size regulations at many airports, the rolling duffel bag, full complement of clubs or not, is not allowed as a carry-on bag. However, the smaller design helps prevent the golf bags from overbulking and tearing the fabric.

Nike Duffel Bags

The Nike duffel bags have plenty of space to hold essential golf accessories such as shoes, gloves and balls. There are special pouches in each bag to hold certain equipment and have been doubly reinforced to prevent ripping. Unlike rolling bags for clubs, the Nike tote can be used as a carry-on bag. The tote bags come with straps and without straps.

Titleist Club Backpacks

The Titleist backpacks are smaller in size than a duffel bag but have the look of a backpack used for school. One can store a laptop and other items to help the golfer. Special compartments are built-in for specific accessories like MP3 players or snacks. The backpacks are also padded in the back to provide extra cushion for heavier items. Two pouches are also built into the sides that can hold water bottles or sports drinks. The bag is small enough to put on the plane or as an accessory to the golf bag on the cart.
