The Cleveland golf club brand provides innovative technology that allows all golfers--particularly those who are newer to the sport--to get the most out of their clubs. The Cleveland clubs have a larger sweet spot that can turn some less-than-perfect swings into memorable golf shots.
Cleveland drivers
The Cleveland "Monster" driver has a deep and wide face that gives the club a huge hitting area, which gives the golfer maximum forgiveness if he does not strike the ball perfectly. The club also has 24 grams of weight placed in perimeter locations to provide maximum stability and distance.
Cleveland Irons
The Cleveland irons take advantage of cavity-back construction to give the golfer the lightest weight possible in order to get maximum accuracy and distance. Cleveland irons use a one-piece injection molded lightweight insert for forgiveness, which allows the golfer to hit an accurate shot even though the swing may be flawed. It also prevents vibrations that can be felt in the elbow, which makes for a more comfortable round of golf. The Black Pearl irons are the company's signature line, as both the face and the grooves are milled for greater control. When robot-tested for swing consistency, these clubs ranked among the best manufactured for accuracy. In comparison, the CG Reds provide excellent distance but may not be as accurate as the Black Pearl clubs.
Cleveland wedges
While all of Cleveland's clubs are innovative, the company is perhaps most well-known for its superior wedges. The wedge's grooves are milled to maximum conforming dimensions. The result is a club that provides consistent delivery for the golfer and one that can be counted on in all conditions. The CG12 Plus wedge, with its 60-degree face, is excellent for coming into the green high and soft. It allows the golfer to hit his target with much greater frequency than a standard wedge. The 588 Recovery wedge is an outstanding club for players who struggle from the bunker and other hazards. With its low center of gravity, it produces high-arcing shots that allow a player to get out of trouble.
