In case you missed it, the playoffs are getting a little bit contentious these days. Began on Monday night with Dwight Howard giving a stiff elbow to the back of Samuel Dalembert's head.
Then later in the heated Bulls and Celtics series, Rajon Rondo grabbed the head of Brad Miller to hard foul him as he went for an easy layup.
The league needs to suspend D-Ho for elbow, and leave Rondo with a slap on the wrist. D-Ho probably should have been suspended right there per NBA league rules about elbows to the head. If that had happened, it's likely the Magic lose.
As for Rondo's, I won't pretend to like him, because I don't. This one is on the ref's for not making the right call. Although it was in the midst of a lot of traffic, the refs still saw clearly that Rondo wasn't making a move for the ball and should have called a flagrant. If a flagrant had been called, then Vinny-my hair hasn't changed in two decades-Del-Negro could have sent a MUCH better free throw shooter to the line. As is, Miller clanks and the Bulls lose.
